הם בעלי יכולות לביצוע מספר מטלות במקביל - להקליד במחשב, לצייץ בטוויטר, לעקוב אחרי העדכונים האחרונים בדף הפייסבוק ולדבר בסלולארי ומיומנים בשימוש ברשתות חברתיות. יחד עם זאת, הם יחליפו 7 מקומות עבודה עד גיל 30 ועוד 3 לפחות עד גיל 40. כך נראה "דור ה-Y", שכבת הגיל העיקרית כיום בשוק העבודה - לידיעת מנהלי משאבי אנוש.
